Maybe I missed something in the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches when I was growing up, but we were always taught to worship God alone. Yes, I did hear about the Trinity, but, not until I got to a Baptist Church did not emphasis switch from God to Jesus.

I was taught the 10 Commandments as a child and had a very strong indirect (weekly radio program) Jewish influence on my life and religious viewpoint.

It is difficult to have a personal relationship with someone or something that you can't see, taste, touch, feel or hear. It is of course theoretically possible for a person to think that he/she has such a relationship, but it must be intellectually unsatisfying to have a personal relationship with the one who knows all when he/she won't share his/her wisdom.

Well, I'm not a Christian but when I was, I was always like..."Yo! Jesus, you got some water? But see, I really don't like wine..I'm more of a scotch man." We were drinking buddies.
