For the past couple of months she has been sleeping on them, and I give her a smack but she doesn't seem to learn because she keeps doing it! She is about 9 now. Please give me some ideas on how I can teach her not to go on them?

They're bed pillows, I am not moving my pillows twice a day just to prevent her from sleeping on them. She needs to learn her lesson.

Don't let her in the room if you can't teach her to stay off the pillows.
Consistency is the key to training. Don't smack, just tell her NO firmly the second she goes to lay on them and move her away. If she gets to lay on them 5 minutes one time, 2 hours the next time, she will not have any idea what you are hitting her for.

When you get up, shut the door to your room. Stop hitting the dog. Do you usually allow the dog to sleep on your bed? Is he 9 yrs old or 9 weeks old? I am guessing 9 yrs being that he can odviously jump on the bed unassisted. How long have you had the dog? If you want him to in the bed with you and don't want him using your pillows, buy him a pillow. You may have to sleep on it a couple of days, being that it is your scent he loves so much about the pillows.

Either move the pillows, make it impossible or uncomfortable to jump on your bed, or close your bedroom door. But I'm telling you now that teaching a 9 yo who believes the privilege is worth the pain is not gonna happen.
