Leather does not naturally harbour smells and you will probably find that the insides are the culprit. They will need to be cleaned or replaced as they will have soaked up a lot of the odour. You can safely use febreeze on the fabric parts of your sofa but please DO NOT use it on the leather. A professional leather cleaner will probably be able to sort out the problem for you.
Then clean the leather with a good foam leather cleaner and protect with leather protector and it should be ok. Use water based products only, do not use creams or waxs or oils.

I had the same problem. I used a leather cleaner (cream)
ASAP. Do not use any kind of water based anything. My problem was with a very old cat. Sorry to say you really cannot stop them from doing it. You can try to do one of two things. One being what I did. I put puppy pads on my couch. At least if they go your couch is protected. My cat was very old so I also put the litter box on the pads and kept it near the couch so she could get to it. It was hard for her to walk. Or second. Keep your cat in the bathroom or utility room or garage. At least until she is trained again. Clean the litter box out EVERY time she goes. Maybe even try to change the litter brand you use. Spray leather cleaner on the litter. Maybe that will attract her. Good luck

First of all, if you want your cats to stop peeing on the couch, smooth out ANY creases on it. The more creases, the more chance there is of your cats peeing there. My cat pees on bags and beanbags that have creases in them. It's very discusting. You may also want to consider changing your litter that you use, or start cleaning the litterbox more frequently. How often do you clean your litterbox? You never mentioned that. Cats can be very picky when it comes to litterboxes. Ask a vet for more advice. For CLEANING the couch, well, I use Lysol, but I read that you've already tried that. There's nothing really more you can do then buy a new couch and stop your cats from peeing there. Sorry.....
Hope I helped! Good luck!

Pet stores carry great odor and stain removers but make sure you get one with enzymatics in it. Try it on an inconspicuous spot before using someplace noticeable. If those cleaners don't work you might try odo-ban which is sold at Sam's or Lysol concentrate (that is what you find in the small brown bottle) if you use the Lysol concentrate dilute one capful to about 1/2 gal of water. Warning that they last two suggestions might not smell pleasant either but they do get rid of the smell of cat urine. I would try the enzymatic stain and odor removers first.

Your biggest issue may be that the urine has slipped down into the foam cushions and fabric decking. However; if the surface of the leather is what needs cleaning the above link and clicking buy cleaner is the best product..

Hi, I do recomend you to hire a professional cleaner and after that, at the pet stores they sell some liquids that will keep your cat away from it, I bought one for the carpet and it actually works and doesnt have bad smell.
Good luck

It is incredibly hard to get odors out of leather. Your couch may be a goner. I would deny your cats access to that room at night.

Nature's Own works very well for me. You can find it at Petco. I'd try putting the litter box on the couch and very gradually moving it away. Mine had a pee spot by the front door and that worked.

Wash the couch again. Let it dry completely then try wiping it down with a fabric softener sheet from your clothes dryer.
