He came in the likeness of man, and died for our sins. His tomb is now empty, because OUR GOD IS RISEN!!! HE'S ALIVE!!!!. And if you're a child of God, you will be alive with Jesus forever.

I posted this earlier, but got such a great response, I thought I'd post it again.

It's just an ideaor phrase To express that God means well and good in some religions adn beliefs. I don't exactly think God is a ruler ( certainly not a stuck up holy ruler) but he's up there more as a guide I guess you can say. Someone to turn to, believe in and have faith in..especially when a mircale happens. plus Jesus, God and the holy spirit are all one. If you ever read the bible you'd know that god created Jesus so he ( God) could be on Earth and deliver us from our sins which in some cases is hard to believe since murder and crim still exist but what the bible's trying to say is that, when we die, we'll go to heaven. It all really depends on what you believe. I don't want to point it all in one direction.

Glad you got a great response. I don't think the concept of a God is anywhere near as awesome as the concept of accidental creation, and the evolution of all living things. WE are made of the stuff of stars, and share forbears we would not recognize. What a precious adventure! Spirituality for me is a sense of commonality with all other things, and a sense of wonder. You'd think we might care and look after it all, and each other, instead of mumbling and arguing over human constructs of dogma! As a kid, reading the Old Testament, I found a God who was cruel, demanding, vengeful, narcissistic, manipulative (Abraham's aborted sacrifice), hubristic (the bet with the Devil over Job) and much else. And in the New Testament one who allowed his claimed son (or other self) to die in agony when a simple intervention of which that God was supposedly capable, could have avoided it, and presumably changed human history forever for the better. And in the Churches, a priesthood which grasped power and prestige by inducing a sense of guilt and sin amongst simple folk who hadn't the wit to challenge it. Sorry, dear heart - but not for me. Not awesome, but pitiful.

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded from the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’----- Col. Robert G. Ingersoll

So why did he make every thing so screwed up in the first place? He created a flawed humanity, and then got pissed off when they screwed up. When a bridge collapses, do you blame the bridge, or the people who designed and built it?

I just don't get it. this is an answer question forum. This is what I've never gotten about religious people. You guys could basically have one conversation in your lifetime over and over, and there would never be any debate or contradiction. How is that living? Don't you enjoy having thoughts of your own?

Yes, and ignore these hateful comments. The prophets were rejected by those who were of their own nation in their day.

Peace to all of you.

All the evil shall quiver at his name and all his servants shall bow on one knee to his wonderful kingdom... those who wish to be saved can be and those who are not of our religion can as well! Anyone who wishes to be saved in the end will be saved and those who have decided to turn from him completely will be ended with the father of evil satan...
