FYI, Hinduism never mentions about caste-system. It originated from the society.
Caste-system is not mentioned in any of the epic books.
If u talk about caste-system in urban areas, people will consider u as a fool n laugh on u.

Buddhism would be the largest "Eastern Religion". China is the largest country in the world for population and they are Mahayana Buddhist. So is Japan, Korea and Vietnam, and to a smaller extent, India.
Therevadha Buddhism (Hiniyana) is practised in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Burma and Sri Lanka, and again to a small extent, in India.
Taoism is a mixture of local believes and Buddhism and is practised in China to a small extent.
Shintoism, like Taoism, is a mixture if local believes and Buddhism, and is practised in Japan and Korea.
Hinduism is practised in India which has the second largest population, but the Indians also practise Buddhism and Christianity and some also practise Islam.

Of all the eastern religions, Hinduism has the most number of followers. India has close to 1 Billion population and Hindus are 80% of India’s population. That figures to 800 million Hindus in India alone. But Hindus are spread in every country in the world. That is easily another 200 million. So Hindu followers are close to 1 billion.
Buddhism is spread all over eastern Asia, but most Chinese, under communism became, atheists. And 60% of Koreans have become christians. So there are only about 600 Buddhists.
The followers of Hindu Dharma believe in the core values of Truth, Purity, and Ahimsa (non-violence). Hinduism has a profound sense of universal unity and abiding respect for diversity. Hindu scriptures proclaim:
“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The Whole World is One Family) and “Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti”
(The Truth is One, The Wise Call It Variously)
This worldview is much needed to nurture peaceful co-existence for all progressive people in today’s world torn with much religious strife.
Hinduism is not a dogmatic religion with 1 book and 1 prophet. It is a search for a higher truth. Hinduism allows freedom of worship, or meditation, on that ONE in ANY FORM. But outsiders are confused about so many FORMS of God in Hinduism.
Because it is a search for truth, Hinduism never had any conflict with science. Because science is also search for truth.
The Muslim rule of India promoted Islam and maligned Hinduism. It was followed by British colonial rule of India.
They promoted Christianity and spread misinformation through missionaries. As a result, Hinduism has been much maligned in the English media. Even at the present day, school and college textbooks provided distorted, negative view of Hinduism. That’s why I can see that this question itself is prejudiced against Hinduism.
Perhaps Paul H learnt all negative things about Hinduism in school, not the positive stuff.

this is not like there replaced right into a super cabal that desperate basically the persons of that area could be responsive to God. one situation God tells Christians, Jews and Muslims all to do is to unfold the word. God could have been straight away revealed to basically some human beings interior the middle East, yet those peoples have been meant to do their maximum suitable to unfold the word to the the remainder of the international. If others did no longer head that word, properly, it sucks to be them while the whole judgement situation comes approximately.

Quality is better than Quantity. Religion is the process by which one can come to love God. That religion which shows the highest way to love and please God is the highest religion.
The original caste system is just another pure and good system that became perverted over time.
edit: I am an aspiring Vaishnava.
