hello i was wondering if national call to service enlitess get deployed like regular navy. we are considered active reserve, im not sure if that makes a difference or not. are we fts?

Yep, you will be deployed just like everyone else.

That was the whole point, to let citizens respond to the war on terrorism, without having to enlist for 4 years.

NCS starts as an active duty contract. 15 months after all of your schooling to be exact. Then you roll into the reserves IF you dont re-enlist. Guess someone forgot to tell you about that part of it huh. So, for the 15 month active duty portion, you can be deployed.

yeap you get assigned just like every other Active Duty Sailor,for your 15 Months AD. after that, you go to a reserve Unit for 24 months and are subject to that Units deployment schedule.
