I am trying to lose weight, 100lbs. I have already lost 16lbs through diet, moderation, and exercise (so please don't say exercise and change diet per I'm already doing that).

The problem I'm having is trying to stay regular (don't want to take harsh laxatives - correctol) while still losing weight (per I gain weight if I eat a lot of fiber - because of carbs intake (i think) - the doctor recommended a low-carb life style because of my PCOS).

Anyway, I am thinking of taking something like "flush the Fat with Internal Flush" (it's all natural).

It has:
Proprietary blend
Psyllium Seed Powder
Flaxseed Powder
Cascara Sagrada Bark Powder
Rhubarb Root Powder
Goldenseal Root Powder
Ginger Root
Fennel Seed
Marshmallow Root
Slippery Elm Bark
Raspberry Leaves

I have taken products with psyllium husk in it before in the past and have not excessively ran to the bathroom like others describe with other products. Will this make me regular & help aid in weight loss?

Thanks

I am not familiar with that product in particular, but psyllium flaxseed and cascara are all effective laxatives. If you want to stay regular you could just use one of them, or drink a cup of senna tea every day. that will do it. thats what they make senakot out if. I dont know what rhubarb does, golden seal helps heal wounds , slippery elm helps sore throats and also digestion. ginger is good for nausea, and raspberry is good for menstrual cramps. for a lot less money you could just go to the herb shop and get senna tea. if you dont like it mix it with mint or ginger to improve the taste

I don't know about the weight loss aspect, but before you take one of those supplements, make sure that you don't have any ulcer problems, as some of those ingredients can cause stomach bleeding if you have ulcers.
