Yes there is a reason and a season for all things. Just because you don't know the reason doesn't mean that it was just a random act. There are no random acts. The universe doesn't work that way....regardless of what science tells you. Science isn't always right.

in a general sense of the term, yes there is.
It has to do with life's flow. You marry when you older, and you do things as time flows..
It is a metaphor for living and all that it incompasses.
I liked what the others wrote. However, I know from my own life, that a number of terrible events that I survived altered a lot of things I would have otherwise done. One of these (from iraq) has literally altered the direction of my life forever. In due season, I will understand completely, but for now i'm greatful it was not worse.

In the book of Acts we read that:
"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us."
From chapter 17.
This tells you that there is a reason for you to exist at this time and place. The reason is that YOU MAY REACH OUT TO GOD AND FIND HIM.
blessings,
jack

No, no it isn't. If I draw a picture of a fish, there could be absolutely no logic or reasoning behind it.. perhaps, it was just a doodle that scribbled into mind.
Not all things have a "reason" which is something some people are just going to have to accept.

Not really, no - it's human nature to look for reasons and meaning and so on, but that's a reflection of us being a successful product of evolution, rather than anything more deep and meaningful.

No. Experts agree things happen pretty much randomly, similarly to radium changing to lead.
