Does anyone know any good songs from any musical? Doesn't have to be a well-known one, just a song with nice lyrics and a good beat?

personnally i really like songs from the producers, theyre generally up beat and you could probobly find some songs from the movie pretty easily on i-tunes and scenes from the movie on youtube.

also check out music from Give my regards to broadway, and from west side story (i dont really like that last one but u might)

Anything from "The Last Five Years" or "Roar of the Greasepaint, Smell of the Crowd." Those are the two best musicals, in my opinion. Also, "1776" can be really fun.

ttb (tick tick... boom!) has some really good music, louder then words, come to your senses, and why are all good songs from there. rent... dont get me started, uh, what you own, halloween, rent, without you, i'll cover you, will i, la vie boheme (not the greatest beat, but thats not the point of the song, its got ALOT of attitude.), then theres the cell block tango from chicogo, it like, amazing. the wedding singer has some really good songs...

i could go on for hours, but here's for now.

Almsot every song from the musical "Wicked" is adored by any person involved with theater. Try something from that show such as

"Popular"
"Defying Gravity"
etc.

There are so many!

'Lullaby of Broadway' and '42nd Street' from '42nd Street'

'Hardknock Life' from 'Annie'

'Impossible Things Happen Everyday' from 'Cinderella'

I would avoid 'Grease' not because its a bad show, its just overlydone
