Not ironic. They just needed a good faith healer.

Healers who work with God, Jesus, Love or the Holy Spirit or however they deem to call it will, even without meaning to, take on the diseases and conditions that afflict those they help. A healer still is not above having their own lessons and illnesses that may cause them to get cancer or other illnesses. Many times after healing another a residue is left that over times will fill that healer to the point of making them ill, that is why so many healers wind up very sick and die eventually from the very thing they helped others heal from.

It is a difficult process to heal oneself, that is why there are healers to help people through the process. Even the best healer will have a hell of a time healing themselves of cancer or anything else on their own without help from someone else.

If we could do everything ourselves, there would be no reason to talk to anyone else.

Which one? Who? Are you discussing Tammy Faye? No more than a pilot dying in a plane crash, or a doctor coming down with a deadly disease! Get hold of your impossible criticism and holding Christians up to impossible standards. We believe in God and many DO have special faith, but we never claim to BE God.., just His children. When we "go" we know our destination.
Also, some people can have faith for others and not for themselves. Some have faith for deliverance and not for healing; some have faith for healing and not for finances. Christians are people who are growing in faith with each life episode. Do you know any perfect pagans?

It is not ironic for people to die, even people of Faith. Faith does not beat death, only the Holy Ghost can do that, and it does take Faith to get the Holy Ghost. I have been healed of Lung cancer, that doesn't mean, I will not die and I will die because of sin, sin brings death. Jesus is Life!

No, it is not surprising. Faith healers do not have a lock on managing their own health.

Considering no faith healer claimed to be able to counter the effects of Adam and Eve's decision to bring death to the human race, not really.

lol very ironic. it is God who heals, not people.
i'm a christain, and believe in spiritual gifts, but i dont trust 99.99% of the so called 'faith healers'..... i think they have no understanding of the Word, and like wolves they monopolisie on peoples emotions and faith in God as a way to make a fast buck, abusing the gospel for 'fame' and profit turning the House of God into a marketplace and an advertising campagin for their 'ministries' therefore defiling the word of God and bringing dishonour to His holy name and shame upon the church.
*thinks*........... it's ironic but it's poetic justice.

No, it is not ironic. People who do healing work are exposed to alot of negative energy. If they don't adequately protect their own energy they can become ill. It has little to do with faith.

No -- they just forgot to take care of themselves and keep themselves healthy. Cancer is a disease of anger. If they never focused on healing that anger, then yeah, they're going to die of cancer.

It has nothing to do with faith. It has to do with the relationship you have with Source COUPLED with the relationship you have with yourself at your highest state of being.
