I use about a half tablespoon of butter instead of oil and never have the eggs stick to the pan.

to make a perfect egg it takes a small amount of oil that just spreads very thinly over the pan and always fry the egg on a low temp so that it cooks well and from time to time while its cooking slide the spatula under the egg to keep it loose so that it doesnt stick to the pan, vwala a perfect fried egg

Bacon fat is probably the tastiest fried egg...but you can use margarine or butter [small knob of either] and a good heavy pan. Don't have the heat too high so the eggs will stay tender, and turn them once only after they set. Salt & pepper is basic, but we also top ours with salsa and some bacon crumbles before serving.
Main hints: medium heat, turn once, heavy pan.

Here is what I do when I make fried egges.
I use tub margarine. And allow the egg to fry for about a minute before flipping and make sure the pan is nice and hot!
Good luck!

I use a well seasoned cast iron pan, with only the drippings from the bacon that was cooked just before the eggs go in the pan.

Try and use a non-stick pan with a small hit of cooking spray. You'll save a ton of calories and don't forget to season your egg.

I use a good coating of Pam on the pan. That eliminates the problem that you just described, and it does a great job. Plus, it's much healthier for you. For flavor, I sprinkle a little shredded cheddar cheese on the eggs after I flip them. It's very tasty.
