Well a while back i was worried i had commited the unforgivable sin. When i was 12 i flipped the bible a bird.I was sorry.I repented, asked forgiveness, and later on got saved.I didnt think about it for a long time, and all the sudden i started worrying about it.I talked to a youth pastor and he said i havent commited the unforgivable sin because i was worrying about it.He said satan was messing with my head.Is this true?

yes, satan wants you to feel miserable, he wants you to hate everything and never forget the bad things, he wants to make you so vulnerable so he can take your soul to hell. don't worry about what happened. TRY THIS-- WHEN YOU FEEL SATAN IS BOTHERING YOU-- SAY OUT LOUD--- GO AWAY, LEAVE ME ALONE, I AM A KING'S KID, IN JESUS NAME. satan hates when we say "in Jesus name". ALSO REMEMBER--- IF SATAN NEVER BOTHERED YOU, THEN THAT IS THE TIME YOU WOULD HAVE TO WORRY, BECAUSE WHEN SATAN NEVER PREYS ON YOUR SOUL, IT MEANS HE ALREADY HAS YOU WHERE HE WANTS YOU, HE DON'T HAVE TO TRY ANYMORE, HE ALREADY SUCCEEDED................ GOD BLESS YOU......

Satan loves messing with your head and making you think you've lost your salvation or whatever, so I'm thinking that it probably was Satan. I don't know what the unforgivable sin is; I worry about that too, if I've commited it wothout knowing it. That's one thing I wish the Bible was absolutely clear about--I know it says that only blaspheming the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, but what is that? I don't know.

Satan was messing with your head WHEN? I suppose the pastor meant when you started to worry about when you were 12? It think that was a pretty lame thing for the pastor to say, because you asked for forgiveness and repented which means the issue no longer existed. Remember, we ALL have the freedom to choose what we think, so my guess is you for whatever reason, tripped your self up on the memory.

No one can know if Satan is messing with your head or not.
How do they know it's Satan and not your own emotions?
There is just absolutely no way to know.

You have not committed the unforgivable sin.
The unforgivable sin is to believe that Jesus was under the power of Satan and worked His miracles by Satanic power.

Yes or they are at the very least from the side of the enemy. Satan falsely accuses people day and night. The very name Devil means "the false accuser". It only makes sense that he is going to find the most nasty thing he can to try and accuse you of.

These thoughts certainly aren't from God. God is love and perfect love casts out fear. Thanks be to God in Christ Jesus for His great mercy and love that goes beyond our reasoning. He has written that He will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. Furthermore, it isn't His will that any should perish.

Satan doesn't exist. It is the shaiten of the Christian church that keeps the story alive. Satan is used to control you. Leave those who are hateful enough to create an evil and a place of eternal punishment just to control you.

It sure does sound like something Satan would do. God doesn't mess with your mind, and cause you to feel guilt. Once forgiven by God...He forgets and offers you peace and love.

There's no such thing as satan.
And is giving the finger to a book really supposed to be more sinful than killing someone? That sounds kinda weird...
