No, just your sins for the past week.

Take your Bible any time! I'm not sure why you would question it. If you have a Protestant Bible, that's fine. You just might not have all the books that they read from until you get your Catholic Bible which has the Apocrypha.
Long, long, long ago Catholics disapproved of the laity reading scriptures on their own. Same with early Protestants, only the ministers could interpret. However, those days are gone and in the 1950s you could even be granted indulgences for reading scripture 15 minutes a day.
Many Blessings,
Lilyth

catholics do no use the bible at mass. They use a book called a daily missal, it has bible readings in it and prayers to be recited at the mass. BUT it is not the bible!
The only two times I ever took a bible to church was for show!
At first communion and at confirmation.
ONE more GOOD reason to question the Catholic church.
Their information is Man made not GOD MADE!!!!!

I agree with several others who answered you. Bring your bible if you want but not your copy of the KJV or the NKJV if you have those. Ask your parish priest if he can give you a bible. If you want to bring it to Mass you can but you don't have to. Sometimes I do if I know i'm going to be early so I can read it before Mass but other times I don't

You can if you want to. Some people take the Mass super seriously and get a warm fuzzy feeling for bringing the Bible to Church. But *hint* *hint*, usually those people are losers. If you really think God is your king, then you don't need a book to tell you that.
I catch up on some ZZZs while I'm in church. Some people pay close attention and read along. Its really how you want to work it, and I don't think there are bonus points for bringing the Bible to church. But if the Mass is in Latin, which few are now days, you might want a Missile, if you don't speak Latin like us geniuses.

When you feel like it. I read my Bible at home but I am not a religious person but a spiritual one. I also read many other spiritual books to get a well rounded idea of what people believe. I also use the scripture to point out critical Christians what Christ did say.

I would say that whether or not you carry your Bible to Mass is about as unimportant as anything in this world. Carrying a Bible will not make you a better person. It won't make you care about the Unfortunate, or look around to see those people in need of medical care. It won't help all of the Blacks and minorities in the ghettos of our cities find jobs when jobs are disappearing in our country. It won't help that single mother feed her kids. It won't solve a single problem.
A Bible is not a sword or a pen. It is a book, a history. If you want to carry it and it comforts you to do so, by all means, tuck it under your arm. But you are the same person with or without it, and what is in your heart and soul is the gauge of the person you are, not anything you can carry around.

You'll find most people that bring their own bibles to church are just bringing the covers of their bible to church, look inside and it's actually the new Tom Clancy. This trick is as old as religious commitments themselves.
If you must bring a bible, quote the old testament at old people.

Talk to your priest, he should have a copy you can have(that's how I got my Catholic bible)...
Anyway, in the "book" it just has the things in it the priest will be talking about and, although it has bible scriptures, should not be your only source of the scripture.
DO NOT take your KJV with you if that's what you have. OH MY WILL THEY HAVE A FIELD DAY!!! lol!

Leave at home people will just get mad if you read it there instead of reading along with them.
Instead spend as much time in the word at home as you do in ritual at mass.
Try bibleresorces.bible.com you can read all versions there free.
