The human mind can be very powerful. Did you know that the mind does not differentiate between thoughts and actual events. The effects on the body are the same. That's why meditation works so well at relieving stress. Happy and peaceful thoughts cause your brain to release chemicals. Those chemicals have a physical effect.

There have been so many religions and spiritual beliefs throughout human history. Every religion's faithful followers believe that they have felt what would be described as a religious experience just like you. Is one feeling or "faith" more valid or true than another?

I personally don't belong to any religious group because I don't feel the need, and I believe that they are all completely man-made.

Like anyone else with a desire to make others conform so they don't have to think, you should really be ashamed of yourself.

You should also do some legwork and study like any reasonable person would do on so serious a subject. And I'm not talking about just reading some version of a book given to you. I'm talking about reading its background and known information about the people involved. Perhaps even becoming familiar with one or more of the original regional languages. If you take your beliefs so seriously, it's the least you can do.

Please! I wish you the best in your faith, but your question really is worded obnoxiously.

I believe Jesus was a great teacher, with many good principles to teach.
But I do not accept that the only way to the Divine is through an intermediary.
Not when I hear Her voice when I need answers, not when I am happy and content with the direct relationship I have.
Not when those who insist on an intermediary also tell me that I am inherently inferior because of my gender, and that men are vile creatures because of the shining moment when we gained true free will.

Don't put quotation marks around proof, don't mix miracles inot it because miracles are subjective and don't give false facts (it's not John 3:19), and maybe people will actually take your question seriously and not look at you as a bible thumper.

for the same reason that you do not believe in Cerunuuos, Alannus, Grannus, Nemitonia, Dagda, Thor, Zeus. the Tuath De Dannon. or the rese ot the thousands of gods that are worshiped.

in fact the atheist only disbelieves in one more god than you do. so why is it such a problem.

why dont you believe in any of my gods?

because a book written by a secluded group of bronze age goat herders says so? how is that any better than the scientist that simply cannot find proof?

ok so heres a question for you... why don't you believe in all the other deities? when there are so many religions out there how can you chose one and think that you are right? are you going to sit there and tell me because the bible tells you too? guess what, the bible wasn't even written by god, it was written by men! I have no problem with you believing in jesus christ but it is arrogant of you to presume that all other religions are wrong

Because I don't believe in fairy tales, nor will I succumb to being led around by my nose by some group of Jesus freaks whose only sincere interest in me and my family is directly related to how much I put into the collection plate. Maybe it's time you started thinking for yourself.

Why do you not believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Why is the world so doubtful?!!!

There is no evidence that establishes your god as more realistic than the great FSM. None.
