What happens, when you've had a really bad reaction to zoloft (or any med that makes you shaky, nervous beyond anything you've ever expierenced, panicky) and after you feel completely burned out

I meant that I had a bad reaction to zoloft. I hadn't taken that before and now I'm fine, only I'm not. I feel so tired and mentally exhausted that I feel like I am going to wear down and die. I was just wondering if anyone could die from mental exhaustion? I am ocd and my mind doesn't stop.

with zoloft if you just stop taking it right away you're going to start having really horrible withdrawal symptoms. you will have the worst headaches and miserable time of your life. you will be furious and discouraged and have no motivation. i'm not joking! see your psychiatrist asap. most have a 24 hour hotline you can call to ask about meds but you can't change your appointments or get prescription refills on that. they will be able to tell you what to do about it. if you don't have a psychiatrist and get that medicine from a regular doctor, call your pharmacy.
was zoloft a new medicine for you?
if you have to stop taking it, get ready with some sinus headache medicine for the pressure headaches and maybe some excedrin.
i'm not playing with you; it's going to be the absolute worst headache of your life and it won't let up all the way without more zoloft. zoloft is the worst medicine of its kind. see if you can get switched over to something else asap.

More info please?

What happens when....after reacting badly to a medication.....you feel completely burned out?

You wait it out, and let the drug clear from your system. If you feel burned-out, well, that's just the way it is, you take time off of work or other obligations, avoid stress, take long walks, eat when you can, journal, and watch old "nice" movies (that don't bring up your issues and are not scary). Mostly take it easy on yourself, avoiding arguements and pressures - do some pleasute reading - almost like you're on vacation at home.

Then, when the drug has cleared out of your system, you and your Dr. can re-address your negative symptoms with other medications.

Hi hun! sounds like you had a bad reaction to it. You should contact your doctor and let them know, so they can suggest what you should do. I hope you will call tomorrow. For tonight just try to relax and remember the burned out feeling will go away. Just relax tonight and talk to the doctor tomorrow morning probably before you take the pill again. hugs! Von
