My brother had gone off to college and I was left alone upstairs and I was totally unused to the quiet since my bro always played music at night.
It took a really long time for me to go to sleep, but finally, after saying the lord's prayer repeatedly, I drifted away.
A little boy was getting a shot. I saw the needle going in his skin and he screamed. Then the little boy was suddenly in the garden in our back yard playing with a dog. He had a band-aid on his arm where he had gotten the shot and he was happy. I woke to the sound of a child (the boy from the dream?) laughing loudly in my ear. His maniacal laughter shattered the silence of the dream and I was awake and shaking (I really hate needles and all) it was as if he was right beside me
There was nothing to make me dream this, no i hadnt had a shot that day, no I have never had any insane people in my family history, and NO I have never seen this little boy.
All I am aware of is that the house that I live in now is REALLY old and a little boy used to live here before something happened to him. thats all i know and all that my mom will tell me.

I think this dream is just that: a dream. You shouldn't worry about it.

I know it sounds petty and childish, but it's normal-you are expressing anger at your brother for leaving you alone. When you've had someone close for so long, its hard to get used to being alone at night.
On the other hand, the little boy may represent your fear FOR your brother-after all, he's living n a new town, a whole new way of life. Also, you may be angry at yourself-for not wanting to be left alone.
I'd start playing music at night, the way your brother did. Maybe even use a night light for a while. While there are some stories of ghosts 'haunting' the houses they once lived in, why didn't this boy show up before your brother left?
Researching the history of the house now will only make your dreams worse. So try listening to music maybe read something (no horror stories, though!), and your fears may just fade away. Maybe you can have a friend sleep over, some night. And don't be ashamed of asking for help! Feelings aren't wrong-it's what you do with them that make things right or wrong.

I doubt if there was anything supernatural about your dream. Chances are, you've been missing your brother, and maybe the little boy in your dream could have been your brother when he was little. Didn't you guys play spooky games when you were kids? As for needles, you probably have a deep-seated phobia about needles, as do many people. And this fear is shoved deep in your subconscious, where all dreams originate.
Hey, I'll tell you this, though. You have the makings of a really good ghost or mystery story surrounding the old house you live in. Try and find out more about its history. It sounds really intriguing. Good luck!

I have lived in 2 very very old houses, so i get where you are coming from.
He's trying to tell you that shots are o.k. and that you and your brother are o.k. It's a painful thing but both you and him will survive.
Being separated from someone that is close to us causes us to dream our worst. What the little boy was trying to tell you is that the band aid on his arm is great and he survived. So will you.
He may be hanging around the house to help you thru this, I'm sure he's harmless.

According to Dreamcrowd:
If you are female and dream that you see or are a boy, then it indicates that you are developing the masculine aspects of character. Alternatively, it may represent your feelings about a real-life boy who is important and significant to you. You may have a crush on this boy and your waking thoughts of him has carried over into the dream world. Your motherly instincts may be taking over. If you are an adult male and dream that you see or are a boy, then it suggests your playful, innocent, childlike nature. Alternatively, it can symbolize the immature aspects of yourself that still needs to grow. Your inner child may be trying to draw your attention to parts of yourself that you need to recognize and acknowledge.
To dream that you are frightened at anything, signifies temporary and fleeting worries.

nothing concrete comes to mind, it is good that you logged this in some way. always record your dreams, it relays a message to your subconcienc/spirit that you are listening to what it is sending you in dreams.
Your bro. had to grow up and take his medicine, he is homesick, so would be happier back home in his garden..sorry just a long shot...dream on, trucker!
