well,I won't tell you believe the Christians. But if your looking for answers than visit and talk to or hang around some Christians your own age and see what they have to offer....tell yourself honestly do you enjoy the good group or the bad group. Sure you can party an drink and have sex orgy's every nite..but is that REALLY gonna make you feel good? or empty?Christians can have a good time..I have a drink every now and then..I don't abuse alcohol..I dance maybe once in a while..I have friends, and go to parties, and have get to gethers.but I don't surround myself with situations that would get me into trouble.I love music,I sing some religious songs, and I sing alot more country and western. But I'm happy and fulfilled, and satisfied because I know that the end is not the end...that I will someday see Jesus's face,in heaven, and I look forward to that.and I try to live a clean life, but I've accepted God into my heart, and I know my sins are forgiven, and I know where I'll be in eternity

For you to be an atheist, you cannot believe in God. Do you believe in God (by any name)? If you do, then you are not an atheist. If this is what you have determined, then you cannot limit yourself to looking at the Christian religion alone. You must look at them all. There is value in every single one of them and you need to find the right one that touches your very soul. You will know it when you find it.

If you do NOT believe in God, then you ARE an atheist and you have answered your question.

There is nothing to fear here. You are NOT on a deadline. You do NOT have to make this decision RIGHT NOW. It took me 17 years of searching to find what I THOUGHT was the right religion (Christianity), but what I have recently found is that it is just another part of my OWN sense of religious belief. I thus label myself a Fusionist.

And bear this in mind, too: religion is all about TRADITION. Spirituality is about your RELATIONSHIP with Source; it is strictly between an individual and that Source. No one else can truly influence you there.

Godspeed as you walk your path.

The Bible clearly states who the author of confusion is!!!
i.e. Satan! Atheist (a=without; theist=god) So, being a so-called 'Atheist' means you probably are confused. The very word is, in itself, an oxymoron.
You should believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved!
Rev. 21:6 "HE said to me: 'It is done! I AM the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty, I will give drink.without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolators and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

There is a test for both lifestyles:
If you have lived your life not believing in God to this point, what has this gotten you? Evaluate this honestly.

Jesus taught: if any man will do his will, he will know of my doctrine, whether I speak for God or from myself. In other words, don't just analyze the words of the Bible - do them, and see for yourself.

The truth need not fear testing and honest probing. May God lead you into meeting Him and understanding Him.

look atheist are in a win lose situation.christians are in a win win situation.your choice.if atheist are correct then when you die your just some ones compost.
if christians (true bible believing christians)are correct then you have an after life and it is YOUR decision were you will spend eternity.
alot is riding on your decision.i would go with christ (i have) for if i'm wrong iv'e lost nothing but if i'm right iv'e gained everthing.christ said he is the only way to heaven, was he lying?

if you ask Jesus into your heart and ask him to forgive you of your sins, then he will gladly do it, but you have to believe that He died on the cross for you. If you are afraid of something then Jesus will take away that fear. you should only fear God alone. that is what America needs. America needs to fear God and to fear God's judgement especially around this time. so if you ask Jesus into your heart and confess of your sins and believe that he died for your sins, then He will change your life and make you a knew person. its worth a try.
