Simple. Develop faith in Jesus Christ through scripture study and prayer, as you do these you get feelings that lead you to want to change your life for the better, which is called repentance. Repentance is only possible because of Jesus Christ, hence the need to first have faith in him. After repentance, you need baptism as a symbol of your commitment to the Lord and His gospel, after which you need to receive the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. The next thing, which is what we all need to do, is to remain faithful to the end of our lives. So, that is the invitation to the Atheist who yearns for more...

An atheist would have to become a theist- you would have to believe that there is a God.
you would have to realize that you have sinned and are not going to heaven, for one, (which since you are asking you probably already know that)
then you would have to ask God to forgive your sins; then you would have to accept Christ into your life.
You don't really get to heaven by doing things - good works- or whatever they call them, but you inherit eternal life by accepting God and what HE did.
The words "eternal life" in the greek language (the original language) really meant "knowing God" God wants to have a relationship with you more than anything, and if you don't want to inherit a relationship with God, you probably wouldn't like heaven. but that is how it is done, you should check it out for yourself in the Bible.

Are you serious? Atheists do not believe in God. In order to inherit eternal life with God, you must recognize we are all sinners, and that Jesus died for our sins. You must confess to God, and ask Jesus to enter your life. Then, and only then, can someone inherit eternal life with God. But then, that person would no longer be an atheist.

whilst the Bible speaks approximately eternal existence it is not pertaining to actual existence. The Bible is all approximately your spirit or your soul whichever you's decide for to call it. God is immortal. little doubt. he's the beginning up an the top. He constantly replaced into and constantly would be. So, how can we inherit eternal existence? We supply our contemporary lives to Him. If we enable our souls to be reconciled back to God by using Christ, we inherit eternal existence. God loves us lots that He gave His basically Son, that whosoever unquestionably believes in Him won't perish, yet would have eternal existence. So, with asserting that it incredibly is going to become sparkling that some won't have eternal existence. based on the scripture it might have be understood that human beings who don't unquestionably have faith in Christ will perish. once you think in somebody, you help there stand. You believe them. You stick to them. You admire them. You get the image. So, the righteous inherit eternal existence via residing a existence that proves that they have got faith in Christ, that they love Christ, and that they'll stick to Christ. Jesus Christ replaced into actual, He rose from the ineffective 3 days after being crucified, and He lives to this present day by using His words and His spirit. Jesus is an occasion of eternal existence. Jesus replaced into righteous. for this reason, following Jesus ability which you would be following righteousness. for that reason preferable to eternal existence. Now on the different end is eternal dying, or damnation. consult with John 3:sixteen with any luck I even have totally defined the situation.

If there is an afterlife, then Athiests, simply by being part of God's beingness, one of the creatures that make up the universe, will naturally be in the afterlife with God. Belief or non-belief in God doesn't make a difference; God is much bigger than that! Athiests will be absorbed into Oneness, just as dogs, trees, cockroaches and Christians!

If it doesn't make sense to you now, that is not your fault.
I think God will educate us all (including the Christians) on what is the right way to live so that we benefit each other and the human race. He will teach us his government--the one he wanted in the beginning before Adam and Eve decided they know how to govern themselves.
In all this time, we have failed to come up with a world wide government that benefits all human life.
I don't think too many will refuse his way of living--it will be a peaceful one. It will be like "heaven."

Nothing different than the rest of us.
1) acknowledge I'm not perfect, that I have failed to keep the law.
2) accept the fact that a punishment needs to be doled out.
3) accept that Jesus paid this punishment for me.
4) ask Him to forgive me....and then...most important...ACCEPT that forgiveness.
5) take myself off the throne, and let Him sit on the throne that is in my heart... (repent)
6) Rejoice...because the angels are going to be rejoicing at the new creation!
