Why does being an atheist kick so much a**?

I've read one too many "your life must suck because you don't know God and you will end up in hell" comments today.

Please share anything that you enjoy about being an atheist.

Me, I have a million reasons, but to start off, I like that I have the liberty to conduct my adult sex life with any consenting adultl without wondering if I'm going to pay for it in an afterlife.

I love not living in fear. Living in the moment makes my life very precious. I also like going birding on Sunday morning when the parks are quieter because everyone is in church.
