I have recently had a dream about a friend that was rather hot and steamy. I do not find this man attractive and I have a good looking man of my own. In the dream we were sneaking away to a cottage on the beach and made love all the time. It is crazy to me because I never thought of this guy as my type. Does this mean that I have a secret crush on this guy or am I just wanting a little more action in my life. I have a good sex life, but not the one that I would like sometimes. Right now I am happy with it. Help, I am a little wierded out by this.

Sex dreams are VERY RARELY about sex... and this one sounds the same. I mean, if you had a dream about sleeping with President Bush, it doesn't mean he's hot... it has to do with power and intimidation... ( Of course, I think that anyone who falls into that category needs help!!!!) It seems you answered your own question, and that is important since you know what is going on in your life and all the situations that are occuring. There is no attraction to your friend; he is just the manifestation of something "New". You said that things in your personal life are not as "action filled" as you would like, and that your sex life is fine, but you wish sometimes for more. THAT is what your dream is about. Talk to your mate, and see if there are ways to spice up the relatioinship a little. You won't be plagued by having dreams anymore with other men you do not find attractive...

ok firstly have you ever had sex with this guy, your friend cause if you have then you can dream your past, was it good sex, is there anything about a cottage you like? if this guy is your friend I mean yes he may not be your type but secretley you may not want the attractive side of a man to be important it may be the personality and the trust that you want, clearly you do state that this man is not your type and yet you make love with him, not only that but you run away with him, maybe you talk to your friends about things maybe about your current partner maybe it is this man that is deeply attracted to you and would like to take your friendship further, you know this and although he is not your type you secretly are willing to try and have some fun and try and get what you want as you are not completely satisfied with the partner you are with now
beach sand sea, sounds like a pleasure island, a fantasy island, a holiday a break, a cottage may also suggest something old cosy alittle worn out, maybe it is that you know this guy alot better than any other

Typically Dreams are thought about as how did it make you feel.
scared, Angry Frustrated, Or was it Fun and Happy feeling.
After you decide which way you felt during the dream then you can decide what it was meaning.
If a man that owns an orchard has a dream about tress attacking him. It might be because he has fallen on hard times and can not pay for watering them.
But if another person had the same dream with trees attacking them. It could be a Happy and Fun dream for no apparent reason.

The interpritation I got from this is that you are missing or needing something in your life, a little adventure a love filled getaway or some healing and your needs are personified by this person for some reason. It might not necessarily mean you like this guy or he likes you, it is all about a fulfillment of your personal wants at this time.

It means that the most important elements to you in a relationship are (1) how good your man is in bed and (2) how you perceive others as viewing you when you are in the presence of your current man.
