Ok...my cousin...she isn't really my cousin. But they call me their cousin. Well she is getting married and I HATE the guy she is marrying! He is an asshole to me and I wanna slap him in the face whenever I see him. And I told my mom that I am not going. And she told me I have to. But I don't want to go because I don't feel like I should have to since they really aren't family but my whole family is invited because they think my family is their family...and its confusing but I don't want to go. And my bro won't have to go. And my mom said if we go as a family I need to go. And I said just tell them I am sick or something. Because I really could care less...should I have to go?

Oh quit whining and go. You are behaving like a spoiled brat.
It is not every day people get married, or have kids, or things like that. All someone is asking is, is that you take less than a day out of your whole life, look pretty, smile, be polite on a day that is so special to them.
I am just simply flabbergasted when I hear things like this, and the encouraging of young people to be .... so irresponsible. Growing up is about learning to do the things we don't want to do, because it makes someone else happy, or it brings further benefit to ourselves and family.
quit thinking just about yourself,
it will make your life much more pleasant in the long run,

why not go put on your best outfit look hot and enjoy yourself. You are not marrying him and i think it sounds like your cousin will need all the support she can get further down the track.i have learnt that the best way to deal with things is to pick your battles and this one really isn't worth getting upset over.it's probably only about 5hours out of your whole life and i bet you've spent longer that that getting upset!!!!

If you are 18 or over, if you do not want to go you do NOT have to go.
However if you are under 18, then I'm afraid you are kind of stuck with what your parents want you to do.
What is up with your brother not having to go? I would argue that if he doesn't have to go then you don't either, unless he's 18 or over.
Edit: Saw your ages, so yes your brother does not have to go, but since you are 14 you will have to go unless you convince your mom to see things your way.

No you shouldn't have to do anything that you don't wanna do. So if you don't wanna go then don't, and plus they aren't your real family anyways. Just tell the bride to be that you don't feel that you need to go to her wedding or tell your mom that or someone.

If your 'cousin' is important to you, you could go regardless of what you think of her future husband.
