No it's not blasphemy. Blasphemy is claiming for oneself the rights and attributes of God or a profane utterance or incontemptuous act against God. Absolute for christians can also mean that they have a certain faith in something higher or greater than them. And I don't know what you mean by "only an absolute being could know an absolute?" Can you explain and i'l give you a more thorough answer.

We're absolutely sure because it's not just merely something we choose to believe - it's more than that. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit "bears witness with our spirits", basically meaning that He makes himself known to us. We actually feel his presence in our daily lives. We have a supernatural personal communal relationship with a spiritual being known as the Holy Spirit, who indwells us the minute we choose Christ.

This decision/indwelling experience is life-changing for everyone who experiences it - some more dramatic experiences than others. A lot of people who say they are Christians actually aren't - they have never had this experience. They are basing their Christianity on things like church attendance, baptism, whatever (people things) vs. the redemptive work of Christ on the cross (God things). I know this because I used to be that person but I have now had the life-changing experience too, and I haven't had a doubt since.

Nothing is ever absolute. The only absolute is that "nothing is absolute".
