Is it okay to have sweet corn while you are on a diet?!!!
I am having it with the salad but my husband urged with me saying that it contains a lot of fat. is that truth? and should i stop eating it with the salad?

If you are trying to watch your weight then your husband is correct. Corn by itself is EXREMELY starchy and calorie dense; think about it, what do they give farm animals to fatten them up? Corn Feed...

Also, sweet corn is a variety of corn that is high in sugar content. So I'd avoid it in your salad and opt for healthier vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, or spinach.

Sweetcorn contains no fat, but is high in carbs. It's in season for such a short time. Enjoy it.

Its one of the few veg that do contain calories, along with peas and potatoes. Mind you, the value is pretty low. Just don't smother it in butter!

It contains carbs, which you wouldn' think so since it's a fruit... But it is a healthy carb!

corn is corn,,,,,,,,,,,,,, nothing sweet about but the taste,,,,,,,,,, good with butter and salt
