Why else would they need to worship a guy in a white outfit living in the sky that has never shown himself to society.

Are non-Christians shallow and insecure about themselves? Why else would they post an insulting question based on a lack of knowledge about a belief system held by a large percentage of the world's population?

Seriously, dude. God is not in a white outfit. He doesn't live in the sky. And the one thing he has definitely done is shown himself to society.

We believe there is a God. God is that which is. He has no cause. He is self-existant. He created all things and is of a different substance than his creation. We cannot fathom him apart from him revealing himself to us. So if God wants our attention he has to say something.

Christians believe God has revealed himself in at least three ways. First, in his creation. The things he has made tell us a lot about his power and his plan. Second, through the Bible. He inspired people to record his words and deeds so that we all could benefit from learning more about him. Finally, about 2000 years ago he jumped into a human body and was born into our world as Jesus for the sole purpose of revealing God to us.

So your question is chock-full of ignorance. I'm not sure why you feel it necessary to purposefully attack your fellow humans in this way. I'm not sure what personality disorder that feeds, but I hope you'll get help.

If we define God as love and truth, I think we would have an answer everyone could accept. We need to respect each other. If your a doctor I listen to you. but test what you say. Of course then I'm not testing medicine, but the doctor. I don't fault science for trying to find a field theory, theory of everything or having a faith there is one. A step beyond a theory of everything is to include love and life. Science dissects the frog and sees how it works, but something is missing, like life and feeling. How many disciplines are we going to not believe in? I believe in them all, I think that's a good idea. Religion deals with live people from the inside. The mind and heart follow different rules and sense life, know it intimately, the whole chemical and material universe inside. It has insights and intuition and thinks in pictures that don't lie if we understand what it is doing. If it tells me it sees the end from the beginning and it keeps testing true by all the science and rationality I can muster and it works, I'm stuck. lol The definition of God is expandable as we learn. If you study the field of say spirituality, for instance, than you just know more about the definition, give us a break. I believe we all have something to give and need each other. That would be in any good plan intending to bring peace and goodwill on earth. The plan was for unity and dedication to loving principles, even loving our enemy and helping them to be what they and we can be and not division. Good plan.

You watch too many movies......who says it's a "He"? and who says he is wearing a white outfit? Perhaps it's blue. And how do you know that he has never shown himself to society? Perhaps the guy you cut off in your car yesterday was "him." Hmmm......I think there are many more important questions to ask. Focus on your own perceptions of God, and not what the media or other people would have you believe. Perhaps you will be surprised with what you find. Peace.

we live in an age the place maximum folk have get entry to to the understanding of the worldwide at their fingertips. technology is progressing at unraveling the main complicated techniques underlying existence and the problem that makes up the universe, and there's a wealth of guidance on the priority of human habit and the workings of our brains. for this reason i do no longer particularly like Christians. they can not see that they are dropping their time on an obvious invention of the human suggestions, created at a time while guidance on something in existence became scarce. Its an obvious fantasy, yet they dangle because of the fact of "faith", between different issues. that's what i think of of cutting-edge Christians. maximum are good people, yet they could somewhat step outdoors the container and get genuine.

One day your rebellion against God and your anger toward those of us who serve Him, will turn you into something you really don't want to be. Or, has it already? PS: How do you know He wears a "white outfit?"

Maybe, some but not all. They say not to show pictures of god because you don't know what he looks like. Who said that god had to wear white and for all we know god could be a girl.

He has shown himself, hundreds of years ago, in a human form as Jesus. And actually, no one knows what God looks like, and won't until they get to heaven. If you think about it, Christian are very trusting and deep, atleast on a spiritual level.
