first of all to tutor or disprove reincarnation you're able to first define what reincarnation potential. through fact the distinctive so called info accepts one version whilst contradicting the others. to start we could become attentive to what issues very own a soul which would be reincarnated. the folk that one and all started this concept concept the backside sort of existence the place worms and that they looked from issues that the place not alive. This replaced into proved incorrect by using Pascal. additionally there are various microscopic organisms. So we could nicely known which of those can reincarnate. Then we could see in case you have self assurance in Karma and how you have self assurance this works. the difficulty isn't any remember which version you undertake the numbers do in simple terms not upload up. For one the human inhabitants has grown exponentially so the possibility that extra beneficial than 1000 people might have extra beneficial than one previous existence as a human is impossible. additionally yet another difficulty with this declare is that people who have self assurance in this many times get to ascertain unusual and impossible issues like 2 or extra persons residing interior an identical time might nicely be the reincarnation of an identical individual. additionally yet another difficulty is that an identical people who declare they suspect in reincarnation even have self assurance in channeling. So it happens that somebody claims to be the reincarnation of somebody whilst somebody else claims to channel the previous stay individual. the only end is that each and every of the proofs are fake, presented the two by using people or demons.

As far as I have read, Christianity teaches reincarnation only in the sense of resurrection.... ie we live as spirits, we are born, we die, we live as spirits, and then we are resurrected to that same body we had in mortal life. That's it.
I don't think reincarnation is necessarily incompatible with Christianity... provided the concept of karma is taken seriously... ie that life is not wasted in meaningless pursuits, because of an unlimited opportunity to dally in this world.
I think that is the danger of the concept of reincarnation. I've prayed about this very question... Is reincarnation real? The answer that I got is that reincarnation is only real in the sense that we will be resurrected. We don't get more than one chance on earth, so we'd better make the most of it (spiritually) while we have the opportunity to.

It does not appear that anyone here has addressed the teachings (in the Bible) about new life (in a body) after the second coming of Jesus Christ. After Jesus comes again there is to be a new heaven and a new earth and those who accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior on the current earth are to have new bodies, not like the ones humans now live in, but different. This is spoken of in the Gospels when Jesus is asked about resurrection of the dead (this could be classified as reincarnation of a sort) He said that the resurrected would neither marry nor be given in marriage. So, if you are talking about reincarnation on the Earth as it exists today, Christianity has not and does not teach that.

what? what? that was becuase the Bible has been edited & bits have been taken out to suit each person that wrote it at the time, to ensure their power & authority over the people is intact etc.
Jesus Christ did mention reincarnation & I don't necessarily think that the Bible reflects ALL of God's word or sometimes contains untruths. If you read different versions of the Bible, you'll see that there are a lot of contradictions, if Truth is one, then there'd be no words that contradicted each other...
i am not saying the Bible is bad, but you have to be careul to discern the truth.
I do think Christianity has been paying a big disservice to the world, becos greedy people throughout history have written/edited & ommitted parts of the Bible in order to ensure that people were under their control, & have hugely distorted Jesus Christ's teachings...this is a real real shame & very sad...& that includes reincarantion.

They are compatible. I think it is arrogant for us humans to have any beliefs which are locked in our self-centred view of the universe. Who's to say we can't be reincarnated. Christianity may not have all the answers, but has many. There are many good teachings in Christianity. Jesus died young. He may not have had the chance to tell us about all the aspects of our existence. And he may not have known all the answers. There have been other great teachers in this world. Let us become more open to all the possibilities surrounding our existence. We are not as clever as we think.

The two are very difficult to reconcile. If Jesus believed in reincarnation, we could have expected him to mention the fact.
There are also mathematical problems with reincarnation. The number of people alive today is roughly the same as all the people who have died in the past 4,000 years.

Nonsense. Reincarnation is not biblical; it is has never been discussed.
Resurrection is a Jewish belief; reincarnation is not.
Reincarnation was never apart of the Judeo-Christian culture until East meets West. If you are referring to the sink trade routes, you date is far to late.

there is only one spirit per person,, if we are reincarnated that means over a period of many years we come back time after time after time, say 5 times,, God has promised that at the day of Resurrection he would resurrect all of us.If we have lived 5 times as 5 different people the question is which one of you would he resurrect,, leaving 4 of your boddies behind,, which God cannot do as he has promised to resurrect all if he leaves some out it makes him a liar which he is not,, so there for there is no such thing as a reincarnated person how you think we are it is a lie developed by Satan to trick us in believing we are no good and cannot go to heaven until we are perfect

Actually its churches diverged from Roman Orthodoxy that don't believe in reincarnation. Instead the Roman church conceptualised purgatory (a place for all the venial sinners to be purified gruesomely). Churches that diverged from the Eastern Orthodoxy believe in a form of reincarnation.
Regardless, both forms vary from original Nazarene teachings. Jesus answered questions about what happens to lost souls. If 1 sheep is lost out of 100, God will search for that one sheep until it is found. That is the purpose of reincarnation, to allow the lost sheep time in the material world to find salvation. The gift of free will dictates that if people don't wish to be with God, then God grants them their wish. Those whom run from God can expect reincarnation in every life cycle in to lower worlds that meet their level of realization, until they wake up and realise Gods benevolence and majesty when they can ascend again.

Could you please quote the Bible verses where it mentions that reincarnation is compatible with Christianity? I have not seen the early apostles' writings ever mention anything like this. The only dying and being reborn again that Christianity supports is (1) When our old sinful self dies and we become new people in Christ and we live our lives from the standpoint of living for God instead of for ourselves;
and...
(2) When we die a physical death and we become alive again in order to spend eternity in Heaven with God.
There is no other life after death supported by Christianity than this.
