Nope, I aggravate Christians because:

1. I question their beliefs and reasoning.

and

2. I don't kowtow to their superstitions.

I'm a (generally) happy agnostic. Certain theists do test my happiness by proclaiming (self-righteously) that I was born into sin, that my sexuality is disgusting, that I am arrogant for not believing in their Gods, etc etc.

What cheek?! I suggest getting over yourself, Trolls4God, or whatever yr called these days ;-)

Christians get aggravated enough by anything and anyone that is outside of their own belief system. We do not need to try. Conversely I have found more peace in the 12 years I have spent in the world of reality than the 27 I spent praying. Which was nearly as good as hoping it was so.

Why do Christians shop assuming atheists are in misery? No, no, no ,no, one thousand circumstances no -- i'm no longer in misery. i like existence. i like my spouse. i like being alive. What the hell is, "an atheist ideas-set?" ...that i think of for myself and stick to the regulation, rather of subordinating myself to the imaginary authority of an imaginary deity? ...an imaginary deity who's an infamous genocidal maniac? in addition to, i do no longer intend to "irritate Christians." I in basic terms insist on talking the reality. it incredibly is the Christians who're illiberal and permit themselves to alter into aggravated, whilst uncovered to the reality.

Maybe the Christians are just easily aggravated and hypocrites, because I'm only here doing what they do - talking about my beliefs.

It's funny how Christians get "aggravated" so quickly by Atheists. It reminds me of my childhood when my younger brother's tooth came out and he was waiting for the tooth fairy and I kept telling him there's no such thing and he would get aggravated just like you guys.

No it is not, aggravation is due to me telling the truth and also the aggravation is on Christians when they see that their attempts at conversion is not working

No, I am not miserable. Do Christians aggravate atheist because they are miserable and misery loves company?

2007-08-05 10:36:28 · answer #9 · answered by atheist 6 · 2 0

Well, in a way Christians also aggravate atheists because they have opposing viewpoints. It's not a one-way street here. Everyone's playing dirty.

I think it would have served you better to simply ask if they know they aggravate you. A little more diplomacy and less rudeness would go a long way.
