i know this is a bit strange, but i've always thought it would be kinda stellar to meet my true love on yahoo! answers or something...but...i always look really ugly in photos...it really hurts my feelings because i'll post my pics on yahoo! answers and ask what i can do to look better(i feel that photos help more than words) but since i don't even look like myself, i always get insulted, laughed at, and/or the tips people give me prob. wouldn't even look good on me!!!
i look old and serious and masculine in photos, but i KNOW i look young, carefree, and feminine in real life--i see it in the mirror and i get asked out and people tell me i'm adorable and cute all the time!(in real life)
should i just forget my dream...
am i just not cut our for internet love?!
and...any suggestions on how i can look better in photos would really help!!!

Maybe you should not meet someone you don't know. You should meet someone at school or something not some weird stranger you don't know. i tryed it once and almost got killed

Celene! If you are cute and carefree in real life and guys asks you out, then you don't have an image problem. People mostly go on the net to look for love or something as they feel they may have better chance of finding someone. If you are already attracting guys I don't see why you should waste time on the net. If you REALLY have to don't post a photo/or a real one of yourself then explain later. Never show your worst aspect/feature : )

Well if a guy really loves you , be it from the Internet or in your real life he will love you for the person you are inside . not just the facial feature's . if a person doesn't have a good heart a pretty heart . there not worth your time . and honestly that's what true beauty is all about . so relax be yourself and post your pictures if you want . those who laugh and make fun , might look beautiful on the outside but they are some of the ugliest people in the world. anyway good luck with your dream . and hey don't stop dreaming after all that's what makes the world go around. where can i see your photo's . i use to do modeling , i can give you some pointer's about your photo's . but i need to see the photo's to help . you can email me if you wish .

HAVE YOU PEOPLE EVER SEEN CORNFUNKEL??? I don't care what cornfunkel told you, you can't get kicked off here for being ugly. There are a lot of ugly people on here. NOW, your little friend cornfunkel........That is some major ugly going on there. You are much prettier than she is.............. Here is a cosmetic tip for you. If you shave under your arms and shave your legs, the Raid shouldn't create such bad blisters on your skin. It's the long hair that blisters. Here is a romantic tip for you. Paint each one of your toes a different color and then go show the girl at the foodmart. That will get her attention. If cornfunkel gets jealous, just tell her that's what she gets for calling you ugly.

To give you some pointers, I went back and viewed some of your past photos.
First and foremost, SMILE!!!! I looked at 10 photos and you did not smile in a single one! Smiling makes a person look cutier.
You look like you are miserable in all those pictures and nobody wants to be with someone who looks miserable.
The pink eye shadow does not look good on you. Try picking a color that better suits your greyish eyes.
The hair style is not best suited for your facial structure either. I would pick something with some body to it.
You are not ugly! I believe that by simply smiling you would increase your attractiveness in pictures AND real life.
As for finding Yahoo love, it is not likely considering you are talking to people from all over the world. The chances that someone you "click" with living near you is slim.
If you are getting asked out in person, I would give THOSE guys a chance.
Unlike most of these other answers, I will tell you not to give up on your dream! If you want to meet someone over the internet, keep trying! Just don't limit yourself to internet connections!

Well considering that I can't see a pic of you it's gonna be kinda hard to give you any advise. Besides there can't be anything wrong if people are hitting on you all the time in real life as you say. At least you're getting that reassurence that it's not you. Don't worry about it. If meeting that special someone on the i-net is what you're craving then keep posint pics someone will fall in love with you. But most importantly don;t worry about what others thin of you. Looks are good but their not everything.

Well if that didn't work proves my point that you don't always get what you wish for. But you always get what you pray for. And be reasonable with God if you ever asked Him a question like that He would bless you with what He feels is right for you and if He thinks you don't need to improve anything then you don't!! If you look decent in person then whats the problem you should be able to find a guy somewhere in your vicinity instead of looking on the internet. Anyways a webcam can always do you some justice if you are not so photogenic. God Bless

Just to let you know - only because you want to meet your love here ~ you will not. Your love will come when and where you least expect it. About photos - take plenty and learn what poses and features compliment you. Then use them when taking other photos. Start by taking photos of yourself with a camera that has the capability to delay.
And ignore the comments "photos don't lie", because photos do lie - but the MIRROR doesn't. You are beautiful, you just have to be more confident and find your best features.

Yahoo Answers is NOT the place to meet someone to hook up with in a dating setting. If you look good in person ...... go with that.
You're better than that. Dream about things in your town, in your school, in your workplace. Find people who have the same interests as you so you'll have something in common.
You don't need this "Answers" place for more than entertainment.

Why would you want to meet love on the internet? Its harder to believe what people say on here. I have the same problem with taking pictures by the way. I hate the way I look in them. I must say I look better in real life. I feel like my smile looks fake because I find it hard to smile when people say "smile" I can't just do it if it isn't natural. You know what I mean? My pictures turn out better when I have had a few drinks because I guess I smile easier.

If you get asked out all the time in person, why are you looking for a relationship on the internet?
Get over your little fantasy about finding love online and stick to finding a guy in person since that is working out better for you.
