My cat seems to have strange looking teeth. It seems like her incisers and premolars are abnormally small. I could not get a great look because she does not like to be handled. She is an orange tabby with pink gums (+nose and paw pads) but she has these black spots all over her gums and/or lips. The spots look wierd. It seems like there are too many of them to be just normal pigmentation. Does anyone know what this could be--or am I just worrying about nothing. --Thanks

Have you ever seen a Chow tongue? It's blue! Dogs with Chow in them somewhere have blue spots on their tongues. This is basically the same thing. Somewhere in your cats family history is the same kind of thing. Don't worry about it!

My vet said, of the black spots on my cat's lips, that they are just age spots.

If your cat is pretty young, take it to the vet just to be safe.

They're just freckles. Crazy, huh?
