This is what one said:

Do you REALLY think that Christians know where Atheist organizations are? I doubt it. If you can't tell, atheists and christians don't get along. We believe that Jesus is the one, true way [[which he is]] and they believe that there is no god. [[which there is]]. If you don't believe, you're going to hell.

How could a just God condemn people for having a mind not capable of believing it's existence?
It would be like someone destroying the sight of someone else, and then punishing them for being unable to see.
This person believing they are Christian also states Christians and Atheists do not get along, just because people have different opinions it doesn't mean they don't get along.

I accept the point that true Christians do not condemn anyone to Hell, I should have made my question clearer by putting the words Chistian as 'Christian', such peple call themselves Christian but lack the charitable qualities of Christianity.

Xians do not condemn their InvisibleSkyPixie as being unjust cos they don't have the courage to do so even if they could be pushed to understand the SimpleLogicReason behind such an assertion.
Why not?
They believe in an InvisibleSkyPixie who watches everything they do, think and say, 24/7 which can't help but develop a massive dose of Paranoia because their breed of Pixie reputedly tells them: You had better SUCK up to me or I'll send y'all to hell.

With that in mind they find the TheoryOfEvolution too hard to UnderstandBelieve.

I'll repeat that - they believe in an InvisibleSkyPixie who 'speaks' to them ... but they can't believe in a Theory that has massive amounts of supporting evidence because they think it Flies in the Face of the Mythical Pixie.
IF I was a Xian who believed in the Pixie I'd just say the Pixie organised Evolution. QEfD.

[edit]
Oh, and my best mate is Catholic; we get along fine even though we're chalk and cheese although I rarely do the InvisibleSkyPixie stuff at him.
How good a mate? Today he's driving 3 hours to pick me up from the airport to take me back home after 5 weeks away.

Theologians describe the problem as everyone having free will to accept or reject God. Exactly what this means in unclear to anyone who is not a member of a theist religion. There are many Christians who have rejected God, and probably many atheists who have accepted him - they just describe the concept in different words.

Hell is how theologians describe the state of rejection of God. It has often been depicted as a place although it exists outside of our concept of place. It is not the role of Christians or any other religion to say someone else is in or is going to Hell. Just make sure you don't go there.

Thats absolute nonsense. Christians and Atheists do get along. I'm extremely anti-religion and one of my friends is a Catholic. We argue and debate the issue but we are friends foremost.

In my opinion,God doesnt not exist. He is simply the culmination of man's attempts to understand mysteries which have now been answered by science. If there were a god, why does he allow such horrors as disease, war and violence to occur?

My friend disagrees and I respect his views. It doesnt intrude upon our friendship.

Unjust? I do not presume to read the mind of God, but I am aware of the following instructions for us from Micah 6:8 -- He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Men can believe.
God is just.
We shall come to see whose word will stand.
