It requires no belief, so no.
It's an observable, testable naturally occurring phenomenon. I acknowledge the reality of evolution.
I don't "believe".

OK then. What's the period of time that you think everything was created within? The bible would have you believe that everything was created in seven days about six thousand years ago. So how do you explain the fossil evidence that suggests that the dinosaurs, for instance, became extinct sixty five million years ago? Or the evidence that the universe is approximately 13.75 billion years old? So tell me, what things were created throughout a period of time and how long was that period of time? Because if you cannot give at least an estimation, then you have obviously not given the subject any cognitive thought. You simply believe what you've been told in church and read in the bible.

I don't need to "believe in" evolution - I know it is true because of my understanding of how DNA works. What the people that say it can't be true do not understand is that they are telling God how to run the universe because it doesn't fit in with the way they have been taught to think. Evolution is very real, and there are 200,000+ scientific papers on it - there aren't any scientific papers on creationism, and there never will be as creationism is not science - it is a religious belief.

I think that 7 days of creation is real meaningful. After all, the word 'day' had no meaning before the earth and sun were created, but hey, who cares about details.

No I do not believe in it. Belief is for faith issues, or matters of intuition. Some claim there is irrefutable proof. They say this from a position of belief, not science. Some say it is the most plausible answer. They also say this from a position of belief, not science. The only scientific answer to how life developed or arrived is "we do not, nor will we ever, KNOW for SURE".
If you wish to believe one way or a 'tother, be my guest. All hypotheses are valid until proven false. But none are proven exclusive truth "scientifically".

evolution means the same as adaptation.
No one evolved from a sponge.
Evolution merely draws links to similiar families of animals due to there markings in relation to their habitat.
In that sense evolution is real. However, Darwin himself said he believed in a higher power and was in no way trying to misguide people into believing intelligent life was a random 1 in a 1,000,000,000,000,000 occurance. Humans were always humans, monkeys were always monkeys.
Evolutinists warped the word of darwin to fit their anti-religious beliefs... This type of evolution I do NOT believe in.
There is no proof of Evolutionist type Evolution and there never will be.

i believe in evolution but i also believe in creationism. in GENESIS . when adam and eve were thrown out of the gearden of eden the BIBLE says that the sons of GOD married the daughters of men. i take this to mean that there were other people who had populated the earth. i do not accept the theory of aliens. that part is just totally rediculous to me. i believe though that thhhat is where evolution comes in. i have been laughed at for my beliefs but to me it is the only thing that makes sense and is completely in line with GODs capabilities.

I accept the theory of evolution. As far as the creation story goes, it was written in 500 BCE when the Jews were captive in Babylon. The elders wrote it to compete with the Zoroastrian story.

God created some things to appear a little bit 'old.'
For instance, he created trees, not everything was just a seed when He created it. Theoretically the tree was already "a few years old."
And the animals that were full size were animals, they didn't start as a seed and an egg therefore they were already a little "old" when they were created.
And those rocks scientists use to prove the world is so old, what if God put them there and they were already old when he created the Earth?

A God would not require evolution.

Creation and evolution don't mix. Evolution is a big lie. 6 days of creation, 7th day, God rested. Why do people keep saying evolution has been proven, What? show me the proof, you can't, there is none, is all in your heads, you believe the writings of men just like you tell us we believe the writings of men, what you believe them because they draw pictures?,so what's that make you evolutionists? Bible has proven history, fulfilled prophesy, names and the like, You have the fossils of dead animals and they don't even line up to prove anything, you even have to fill in with your imagination the majority of bones that are missing in most cases, overlying images of flesh that you can't prove is right since no-one has seen any of these creatures, give us a break. PROOF! There is NO PROOF. My words of truth must stab deep to warrant that many thumbs down.
