In my culture, "god" denotes a false god; therefore, Mankind created this and many other false "gods". The one true God created everything and has no creator. He is the Great "I AM" and he has many, many other names including his holy name which is not supposed to be written or spoken.

If you are talking about a mythological god, then yeah, they were all made up. But God, the source of all being has ALWAYS been around.
I know it's hard to understand.
And since He created everything, that includes science also. Not the other way around.

When I was six years old my best friend at the time said: "God's hands were just laying on a table" (I envisioned a marble column with a flat granite plate on top, supporting God's hands) " and he just made Himself".
I still consider this to be the best answer ever.

Primitive man created god as a way to explain what could not be explained during the early period of human civilization. From that it became a religion.
Of course if there is a god which god are we talking about? Zeus, Olmec, RA ect.. throughout history ancient civilizations have had many gods to worship so, who is to say that the current version of god is the right one?

Nothing or no one created God. God has always existed and will exist forever. There are some things that we humans aren't meant to know the answers to. God knows best.
