1/3 the hosts of heaven fell away. So 66% of his angels turned out ok.
He created 2 PERFECT human beings, who had direct communication with God, and they couldn't follow 1 simple law. 100% of 2 perfect human beings, failed.
Yet all he asks of us, is to believe in a book, men wrote thousands of years ago, about events that happened thousands of years before they wrote it.

You know not all of what you speak.
Yes, God's angels have a 2:1 winning ratio. Adam and Eve did disobey and do their own thing concerning the fruit - but that proves the free will we were all given.
But, the collection of writings we know as the Bible were not all written thousands of years after the events. Moses wrote of things that had occurred long before he was born, but also of his own events and contemporaries. Many of the other books were written by their namesake. The New Testament's first book was written about 40 years after the resurrection of Jesus - while many of the witnesses were still alive.
Does God have a poor average? No, we do.

The thing is, today he has several million imperfect humans willing to obey his commandments as best they can being imperfect. Not counting all the ones that have died trying to defend his name. Don't forget that the first human pair had a little help from Satan when they sinned. Today the ones that try to obey his word have to resist Satan and the people and things he controls. So he didn't do such a bad job afterall.

If you really want to know...I'll explain it....
God had already planned to send his Spirit Children to earth so they could gain a mortal body and eventually become inmortal (God has an immortal body..."he created man in his own image")
But there were two plans...one thought up by Jesus Christ and the other thought up by Lucifer.
Jesus Christ's plan was to send people to earth so they could experience both good and evil (therefore becomming like God who knows both!!). While Lucifer wanted to send people to earth and wanted to make it so there was no evil and they'd be able to go back to Heaven without knowing Good from Evil.
There was a "war" in Heaven over which plan to go with. Where 1/3 of the Spirit Children wanted an easy way back to Heaven while the other 2/3 wanted to experience both good and evil so they could be "like" Heavenly Father...who knows all.
With more people on Jesus Christ's side...God cast out the 1/3 of the angels/spirit children. Therefore, Lucifer was also cast out. That 1/3 of spirit children (including Lucifer) would never have a body and therefore never make it back to Heaven. Whereas the 2/3 who sided with Jesus Christ were sent/ and are still being sent...to earth to gain mortality and eventually become immortal if they choose to stay on God's side and not be coerced by Lucifer.

The one simple law that they failed was all of the laws. So what? So god had to kill of his creation multiple times. God does seem pretty inept. Still, christians don't get the picture.

God doesn't have a poor average... His creations do.
We were given 'free will' therefore all failures are of our own misguided attempts not our creators. how else do you explain nukes, George bush, 9/11, the holocaust, etc.? these failures were our own fault.
