I've volunteered to defend my country against enemies both foreign and domestic.

My call to arms as arrived and I'll be defending freedom, not for us, but for those who don't have it, for those who don't take it for granted.

Freedom for us is a given, it's automatic. Nobody thinks much of it because that's what we've known our entire lives.

But what about those people who aren't as lucky as us. It's hard to imagine if you've grown up with it, but if you haven't grown up with it, it's hard to understand what it's like.

So will I go to war? Yes, I'm going to war. And yes, I volunteered. I'm against the war in Iraq for the reasons we went to war to begin with. Now that we're there, we can't just leave, and a new call has arisen for us to be there. We're defending freedom. And for me, freedom is worth any price I can pay.

Hooah!

Since I'm a 60 year old woman with bad knees, if my country needs me, you bet I'm going.
It means that I may be the last person left standing.

On either side.

It's not a war, it's an authorization for military use.
