Well, there are issues with Iraq and how that country hid terrorists and supported terrorism. Not to mention how Sadam Hussein was getting richer and killing hisown countrymen, women and children.

While the United States has become the target of terrorism from Muslim extremists, the "war on terror" is an invention of Bush and Cheney. Terror is a tactic and to declare war on it is nonsensical. Since terror as a tactic will be around forever, Bush & Co. have effectively declared a war that will never end. Although this sounds like another example of Bush administration stupidity, it's very clever, in that the White House can justfiy any action it takes by saying, "we're at war."

When Sadaam Hussien occupied Kuwait, Osama bin Laden offered to use Al Quieda to kick him out rather than allow infidel troops in the Holy Land. The Saudis chose having us troops do thier work. That was when Osama broke with us and them.

It's not a "who", it's greed and ignorance. It's apparent that you aren't going to like hearing my opinion, but what the heck, you asked the question.
As for your assertion that we'll have to fight them here if we don't fight them there, I believe we'll eventually have to fight them here anyway. I believe we are going to be attacked again and I believe that the people who are going to carry out that attack are already here and probably have been for a long time. Just hope some of us still have our guns so we can fight back.

The cause of the war in Afghanistan was, and should have been about terrorism.. and we should have fought it.
The war in Iraq was and is all about oil.. a little of it was just revenge by Bush to get Hussein.. but after that it is all oil, oil oil. Anyone who actually believes the drivel Bush is trying to feed people about his" WAR ON TERROR".. IS CRAZY. THAT IS JUST THE EXCUSE HE IS USING.

It is a war on an ideology, a perpetual war. A perpetual war is not in the interest of the people. I wan't elaborate more than that.

"THE war"...? What war?
The only wars the US is currently engaged in are the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror" -- both of which are marketing phrases that are used to justify political policies.
Congress has not declared any war any time recently, so there is no current war in which the US is a party.
If you mean any one of the many military actions in which the US has deployed forces in the past decade, you need to be more specific.
