The best time your dog can get pregnant is 7-10 days after she goes into heat. She might very well be pregnant and she might not. The best way to tell is wait 4 weeks from the time she mated and take her to the vet. If she is pregnant you can get her fixed and that will abort the puppies. If it has only been a couple of days there is a pill or a shot you can give to a dog to stop the pregnancy if she is pregnant. Most likely if they were stuck together she is but she is old so she might not be. The best way to find out is take her to your vet.

GO TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY.

You can still have the dog spayed, even if she is pregnant. It will cost you more, and in puppies in her will have to be aborted.

Do not wait, because the less developed the puppies are, the better the chances of her making a full recovery.

Why don't you seek the advise of your vet. See if she is pregnant first. Then discuss with the vet your options. I hope everthing works out! You may need a better fence for the furture. Or during heat leave her in the house and watch her when she has to go out. Good Luck!

A dog can be in heat for 3 weeks, but usually won't let a male nearby unless she is ready.... So you might want to watch her, and then call your vet, if she gets slow or heavy. If she is pregnant, she will have pups in about 63 days... on average.... And it may not be a good idea for a 12 year old dog.

your dog can still get pregnant at age 12. You should have her spayed right now to prevent any unwanted puppies. It is not humane to make a 12 year old dog have puppies. How would you like to have a baby at age 80!?

The fertile period can last about five days and may begin approximately nine to ten days after the onset of heat. This can vary a few days. The heat cycle nomally lasts 20-21 days

yes, she most likely is pregnant. BUT that age is horrible to have pups. she is a senior, and most likely will have problems birthing and caring. please have her spayed if you can. old dogs and young pups arent good :( for one, trouble birthing, 2, caring (she may accidently squish a pup
3, shes not young anymore, not energetic to teach her pups much.
u can send me a message for more info on this, 4 i have been typing all day and my hands are tired
good luck!
