I'm thinking of going there for my honey moon and see the rainforest, great barrier reef etc.

Cairns has a median February rainfall of 403mm on 19days. 80% of years the rainfall is between 168mm and 752mm. The highest ever was 1287mm in Feb 2000. Cairns can also get tropical cyclones in February.
The high rainfall means that many roads are closed during the wet season so you might not be able to get to all the places you want to go to. February is the time for southern Australia not the tropical north.

I live in Cairns and yes it does rain - but it's great as it's so hot it cools you down. Nothing like walking in the rain!
Also on the cyclone issue, yes the far north Qld is prone to them, but the odds of one actually hitting Cairns is one every few years, we had one last year. near innisfail which Cairns coped a bit of it. Going out the the reef doesn't ruin your visibility if you are diving, snorkeling etc.. and the rainforest is great.

yes it can rain a lot in february in the tropics.
and it's very hot and humid
also stinger season & cyclone season
i'd head to tasmania for a honeymoon in feb.
