My son tells me how the guys in his college get their dates, and it isn't very good.....That most guys are in it for the sex, alcohol, parties and even drugs, but nothing more, what is your take on this question. Do you respect girls or Use them? What would you like to see in todays girls?

Its horrible yes I know. In fact i'm in my 20s and looking for someone really special and I would prefer her to be a virgin in fact. I'm sure there are plenty out there but the majority of girls nowadays are just as bad as the guys.

A lot of guys think of nothing but sex, and do it for the sake of doing it. I always notice that the ones (boys and girls) with the strictest upbringings were the wildest when they went away to college, and I went to college deep in the biblebelt.
But most college girls know (or are learning) how to take care of themselves. I think the best quality (other than hot bod) a college girl could have is a great sense of humor.
As for whether there's respect or not, some guys do want more than just an easy lay, and ultimately the total ho's don't get much warmth or respect. But they can transfer out of state and start over.

I respect Girl's, and sex is a big deal to me. For one, I don't want any little Me's running around accidentally. Two, STD's are everywhere. Three, you can always get in legal trouble somehow with the wrong girl. As far as I can tell at my college guys, on the by and by, are actually assholes. I don't like to be judgmental but I do believe that many are in it for the fun, alcohol, sex, etc... I don't think this is anything new at my age, isn't that what most people think college is all about?

Now I can not stand it when I meet a person (man or woman) that find it nessary to get by in thier life on alcohol or drugs
And back in my day when I was singel I still thought very little of the ones that did.
I learned (after trying to have relationships) that when the two involve drugs and alcohol it is just bound to fail(yes I do realise that very few do make it, but out of all the ones that do durgs the percentage in low that it will work)>

i am in a long term relationship and will with out a doubt marry this girl, im 22 so i would first like to sort out my studies and life before heading out into the large world of marriage, A LOT of guys are like this, BUT not all of them, some of us respect your counter part and wont do anything to jeopardized that, i think that some woman are to blame as well, because there are of them who are the same as most guys and just want a one night stand.
I like a woman who is confident and not afraid of how other perceive her.

things today are different but somethings stay the same. guys will always be a bunch of perverts running around when there hormones are going crazy, it what we do, then one day we meet the woman of our dreams and marry her, after that they usually take the house and the cars and then we go right back to where we started from and do it again. girls these days are just as horny as the guys and are doing some of the same things, our parents never approved of what we did and we are doing the same to our kids

Thats a loaded question.
If I told you the truth it would only make me look like a dog, if I lied you would have no respect for me.
I will say this at the age of an average college student what you stated would be the "norm". However there are those that fall out of the "norm" at both extremes.

To many people are out for me me me. They don't really care about how their actions can affect others and I don't see it getting any better. That goes for both the men and the women. They are using the guys as much as the guys are using them.

I sound like I'm lying.. but personality really is a great quality. I go for girls who share similar religious beliefs as well. If they do, the rest of your statement shouldn't be an issue :)
