Let's start with the ministries and groups just within my own parish:
Church ministries includling choir, Eucharistic ministers, gift bearers, lectors, ushers, wedding preparation volunteers.
Spiritual ministries including prayer chains, monthly prayer breakfasts, vacation Bible school, and Eucharistic adoration.
Religious education including PSR (classes for public school students) and RCIA (catechism classes for adults).
Social groups including the Altar Society, golden age club (55+), Cub and Brownie Scouts, youth group, youth athletic programs, Catholic singles group.
Social concerns: Outreach to the sick and homebound, funeral luncheon volunteers, pro-life group, St. Vincent DePaul Society, bereavement support group, family ministry.
In addition, faith-based counseling is available through the parish.
Oh, yes, and we also have an ongoing and very active Bible study group.
Within any of these activities can be found the support and fellowship of believers, which adds up to a very caring community.
Beyond individual parishes, there are a large number of lay apostolates which focus on outreach to those in need; any Catholic may become a part of their work, which also compliments what is done at the parish level.
My parish is by no means unusually active. Smaller parishes have fewer activities, larger ones have more, and most of what is available depends upon the needs of the parishioners.

Your question "Why do diverse Christian sects think of Catholics are no longer Christian?" Has me a sprint puzzled! right here in Europe no one would say certainly one of those element a minimum of no longer openly, I unquestionably have never heard every person or examine something of this until seeing a number of the solutions to this question! i'll declare this "The catholic faith is plenty extra concentrated around the classes of Christ than lots of the hot worldwide bible based religions, which tend to quote plenty extra from the old testomony! I in basic terms end i will draw is that historic previous is enjoying a roll interior the unfairness of a few human beings. of course there is the 'I worship the only genuine God? thought held by ability of a few so called Christian sects, yet that's no longer something extra advantageous than hypocrisy! the classes of Jesus of course state that everybody is a baby of God. I worry that many are a sprint in the back of with there wisdom as to how plenty the Catholic church has moved on by using fact the seventeenth cent. If one considers the artwork of Pope John Paul 1st and that of Pope John Paul 2nd interior the reunification of the Christian worldwide one will see precisely what I mean.

And other sects don't have those "social pressures"? What is this Catholic bashing on here all the time? I'm not even Catholic (or christian) and it's getting pretty tiresome. It's the old "we're better than they are, nyah nyah nyah" when you are NO better, in fact other "sects", as you call them, are much more hung up on sex, abortion, etc than the Catholics are. So get whatever it is out of your derriere and focus on improving yourself rather than insulting the Catholics.

We certainly do form social groups....some parishes are very small or too rural to do that. I was born and raised Catholic. Now in my late 40's, I love my Catholic faith all the more! I choose it over and over. I've studied other religions and communities of faith and I love mine still more.

I'm not Catholic; I have heard of the Catholic Charities organization, the Knights of Columbus (I'm pretty sure they are a Catholic group) who apparently help with medical costs, and I've also heard of local churches donating food and clothes to the poor.
I'm not sure where you're coming from with your other comments, so I don't know how to respond to that.
