Hi world! I just put another video in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u7BzCPFdQQ
I don´t know what is happening in your country right now, but here in Mexico it´s really getting hot and wet. I recorded some TV-News also. Feel free to watch my other videos also in youtube. They are in different languages. I really would like if you could help me in finding people who can give my message to other countries, because as more people we are
as better we can do something for this planet. Global Warming is real, even a blind man can see it (even feel it). So I hope I can count on you. There is nothing to loose, but we can win everything in turning off our lights on 9 th of september (local time) for 9 minutes. Once this is in the news, more doors can get opened. I count on you, the world needs you. Think of your children also. We all deserve a planet with conditions for a comfortable life. Here can you find more videos: www.youtube.com/cancunhans

You remember the worldwide concert on 7th of july? Ok, so lets continue and make something big. Join my proyect. And I am sure, we can change many things. Important is to continue, because I feel that our presidents are still blind and don´t want to accept the truth. Earth is dying and I can´t stand it anymore.

Calm down. Every expert agrees that Man only accounts for LESS than 2% of CO2 emmisions worldwide. So even if we extincted ourselves, we would only improve CO2 emmissions by that much. We must start facing the reality that the Globe is Warming for OTHER reasons.

first off this isnt a question
second, it is insane to believe that by banding together and going "green" for a day, a single day out of the year, that we could make a difference.
just like the stupid chain emails saying, "nobody buy gas on such and such date"
the problems you run into are
one
most people who dont buy gas on that day will either buy the day before, or the day after, so in essence you change nothing.
two
gas stations dont buy gas on a day to day basis, they pay a set rate according to how much crude oils is per barrell, so not buying gasolline on a single day doesnt hurt the big oil companies, it just takes money out of the small business owners pocket and then the consumers pocket because the small business gas station owner then raises prices by a penny or two to make up the difference...
be smart.... going "green" is in the mainstream, and the govt is already working on laws and regulations to put a dent in the problem....

The reason it's hot in Mexico is because it's SUMMER. It is such an arrogant view to think we could damage the Earth and fix it at the same time, such arrogant thinking. Turn off your lights, not me on the the 9th of September I will burn every light in the house. How in the world can you have a comfortable life by turning off a light ? YOU my friend need to get a life ,you have bought into the biggest lie of the century. I will not participate in this alledged global warming BS.

Oh look, another egotistical liberal who thinks that he can con people into believing false "evidence". I love how you people completely discount the fact that the Earth has gone through several global warmings and coolings, and humans have only been capable of industrialization since the late 18th century. The liberal-environmentalist theory that humans are the only/main cause of global warming is completely egotistical.
This is a natural process of the planet, and yes I do love my planet and so I refuse to interfere with it. Aren't you people against trying to interfere with nature? You're starting to sound a bit hypocritcal to me.

Like 9 minutes of dark is going to do anything. The inrush current of turning everything back on is going to use up 10 minutes of juice.
Lights out is a feel good, do nothing plan in our altruistic world.

I don't know how long you've lived in Mexico, but I lived there a number of years, and it ALWAYS gets hot and wetter this time of year. It's summer and it's going into the rainy season. Happens every year. That, my friend, is not global warming, it's the natural climate of the tropics.
Go ahead and turn the lights off, but expect to be one of the few.

Did you have a question or did you just prefer to use this forum to advertise your opinion?
Let's reduce global warming by getting AlGore to do something else with that home of his that consumes more than 20 times the amount of electricity than the average US home.
