Eat more: raw fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats (if you eat meat). Eat less: sugar, salt, starch, dairy. Raw food fills you up, contains more nutrition per serving, and is generally lower in calories. Think fruit and salad and fill up on those!
Colorguard practices will burn some calories...try to find an extra half hour of dancing, walking, jogging, or swimming in there 4-5 days a week. Make it something fun to do with your friends and you will not resent it.
10 pounds in two months is a healthy rate of loss. As long as that target weight is healthy for your height and build of course. Good luck!

10 pounds is not unreasonable for 2 months. She will need to increase her exercise, eat healthier, count calories and stay away from junk food. Most kids today don't get enough exercise or eat healthy. She can drop 6 lbs. or more in the 1st month by doing this.

Cut out fatty foods, and eats lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with natural sources of low fat protein.
Increase your exercise.
Ask an adult to help you set up goals and a plan to achieve it.
Good luck.

watch what you eat, no sodas, no junk food. eat lots of fruit and fresh vegetables, walk about 20 minutes a day and take a multi vitamin a day. You will loose it fast and it will stay off because your doing it the right way.also ask your doctor about b12 shots.

One good way is the cut her portions. for exampleif she eats two hot dogs, have her to cut the portion by eating one hotdog and maybe some fruits and vegetables on the side with plenty of water.
