When a guy constantly text messages you, but won't call?

Reasons a guy would do that:
1.He doesn't want other people eavesdropping into his conversation with you
2. He gets all shy in phone calls and doesn't want to make an *** out of himself
3. He has free texts but no free calls
4. He doesn't want to blow his dough on a phone call when texts are cheaper
5. Texts are short and sweet and he may prefer it that way.
6. Some guys hate talking on the phone.

It is fairly normal for a guy to do this.
Guys are naturally lazy and dont like to pass the time of day on the phone unless there is a definate purpose to the call.
Its just the way guys are, so he is taking the easy way out and texting, just in case you try and get him to talk about something like, say the weather, which he really won't be interested in doing.

As a guy I hate being on the phone. And if I'm in a new relationship I'm usually self conscious of things....like my appearance or the sound of my voice so texting is just easier.

honestly it means he would rather be preoccupied with something else (video games, tv show, chilling with his friends, being with his GF, etc.) than "talk" to you. He doesnt however want to let you think he is ignoring you so he is trying to at least give you a little tiny portion of his time. The question is, do you deserve more? if you do deserve better attention and time from someone, than accept that he isnt for you and move on.

he might be insecure Me personally am NOT a phone person. And alot of people are that way. if hes talking the time to communicate with you I wouldn't make it an issue it wont help the situation if hes afraid that your going to bust his balls on every little thing. he might just be shy or like you alot and this way he can make sure hes not going to slip up and say something stupid.

Free texts???? or maybe he gets nervous when talking to a girl he likes, allot of men get tongue tied or lost for words and are scared they may say the wrong thing.

He is probably shy call him but be ready to carry the conversation for the first 15 minutes.

It really depends haha. Its either he's not big on phoning people, he's nervous talking to you and would rather text you to be safe..dunno, take your pick
