Look at his/her personality before naming him/her...see what his/her favorite(and safe) human foods are or where he/she likes to play or be..ie.peanuts, T-Bone, lightning, princess, prince etc..Good Luck!

I always find this question a bit odd, to say the least. The lower age limit for 'answers' is 13. Here we have a courting couple who cannot even think of a name for a dog that is right in front of them!!!

My aunt always gives her dogs human names, she has had two female chocolate labs, one name Abby (i don't remember the middle name), the other named Molly Jane. She has had many dogs, and I noticed that, similr to a child, if their middle names are used, they know they've done something wrong. Dogs are intellegent animals and deserve a name better that "Brownie." If you wouldn't use the name on a child, don't use it on a dog.

I own 2 chocolates and their names are Remington (like the gun), he's a male and Hershey a female. Here are some other good names:

Mocha
Nestle
Godiva
Bailey (like the liquor)
Brownie
Mousse (better for a male)
Kahlua (like the liquor--love this for a female)

my boyfriend and i named our pitbull Samson. Name him based on his personality, please dont name his after a food i hate that. My cats name is jorge (but we pronounce in english george). He is are son since we have no children, name your dog as if you were going to name your child...put some thought into it. You should have thought of name before you bought it. We thought on a name for about 2 weeks before we brought him home.
