I have a degree in elementary education, with a math concentration. However I have been unable to get a full time job over the last 3 years I have been out of school and just have been subbing and working part time at another place. I am tired, and I need a full time job. Anyone have any suggestions about what I could do?

Keep subbing and get to know the teachers and other staff so when they have an opening you will have references.
My sister in law was subbing and got to cover a maternity leave and was full time the next year. She has a masters in reading and enough credits for a doctorate so now with 20 years experience is making good money.

If you are really desperately seeking and willing to do (nearly) anything, the good news are that many states need elementary teachers who want to relocate.
If you're really up for it, try England. I'm not sure about your citizenship levels but trust me, if you can find a way to come over, you'll be easily able to find a 25K job a year and thats just the beginning, and I'm only talking about London! If you go further north, man, you're done for!

Make appointments with Principals at some local schools schools around your city. Take your resume' with you and keep plugging!!! Check for jobs in your local newspapers. From everything I have heard, good teachers are always in demand. Also, post your resume' at Monster.com.
Good luck and may God bless you.

Are you just looking for a job locally? If you are willing to relocate, teachers are in short supply everywhere. Tons in Florida.

You just need to continue to apply for jobs. use job sites like hotjobs.com, monster.com, dice.com, careerbuilder.com, etc.

Also, try doing personal networking, like asking your friends to look out for opportunities that fit.

Look into the classifieds at Craigslist, or in your local newspaper.
