I'm glad you asked this question. I went to my library to make certain. Even the Bibles that I use less often are not dusty but I now realize my Byington translation is missing!

That reminds me of a story I heard about of a traveling minister who was preaching to all the homes many years ago in an isolated and backwards part of the U.S. One individual he was talking to was so ignorant that eventually the minister said "You probably don't even have a Bible!" "I do too!" the man replied and to prove his point he sent one of the kids to fetch it. The kid ran outside to the outhouse and came back with only a few pages left between the covers. The man was a little embarrassed , because he had to admit "I didn't realize that we were getting so low."
The Bible is the all time best seller and has been translated into more languages than any other book, but very few read it.

Nope. As a matter of fact, my Bible is looking a little worse for the wear lately.. thinking about getting a new one and having it bound with the Reasoning From the Scriptures book. I have flipped and marked and searched and read until it just falls open by itself! :)

My Bible is worn out with notes and the pages are falling apart. I need a new one, but can't part with the old.
