Brown spots on skin, birth marks forming?

Lately, after i've been sick with a series of things (relates to first question.) I noticed that i started to get really smarll brown marks on my skin, and i can see more small ones appearing, and it's what appears to be a birth mark, forming on my pink and my toe, that i've never had before until just about a month or so ago.
any ideas?

birth marks get their name because they're present at birth. they may leave later in life, but they don't show up later. you could be getting moles or something else. ask a doctor, preferably a dermatologist.
