Hebrew, Aramaic to be more precise.
That's what Islam teaches.

He was Middle Eastern, and his religion was Jewish.
I'm bemused that this basic fact is still in question.
Apart from anything else, AMERICA HADN'T BEEN DISCOVERED at the time Jesus lived.
So I'm not sure why I keep reading posts on this site stating that Jesus was an African American...!

Abraham was from Ur of the Chaldees...not Africa, not America, not Spain...
I met a very handsome young Israeli at the mall the other day...lovely bronze colored skin, features that could only be called "exotically handsome", dark brown, very curly hair tied back in a tail...and bluer than blue eyes.
Perhaps Jesus looked something like my young friend.

He would have the features of his biological mother who was a Hebrew. He could have had blue or brown eyes or somewhere in between. His skin and hair coloring may have been lighter or darker. He was born a Jew which was his ethnicity.

Jesus was jewish and would look more like a terrorist from the middle east than a wasp from the US. But it's more convenient to have a white jesus so it doesn't offend their delicate sensibilities.

According to the story he was born in the Galilee, but his parents were from Judea.
So that would make Jesus a Judean as well.

I dont believe he existed but there are those who have said he was a jew. It is an ethnicity as well as a religion for some reason people over look this.

Semitic.
Original Semite... not the Khazars that call themselves Semites, now. But of the same tribe of people who now live in Ethiopia.

I think he was a Sudanese-like middle easterner, a mix of semitic and African features.
One thing for sure, he was neither a Germanic nor Slavic character as portrayed in 90% of the drawings.
