Well your body is probably telling you that it needs more calcium to help your broken bone grow stronger. (it is actually proven that our bodies cravings are linked to vitamin needs)
So since you normally drink soda, which actually robs your bones of calcium, your oj cravings are helping get the calcium.
If you don't want to drink so much juice if you are concerned about the sugar in it, you could take a multi vitamin or a vitamin c tablet in addtion to the multi vitamin.
As far as getting too much Vitamin C, your body will just get rid of what it doesn't use through your urine (sorry to be gross..just stating a fact)

Orange juice has calcium in it, something that would help rebuild broken bones. Sodas have nothing in them of any real value. Stay with the OJ.

4 glasses a day is not too much, especially if you don't drink sweet soft drinks
OJ has a lot of sugar
if you are drinking the calcium added juice then you are probably helping your bone to heal better
(maybe you need Vitamin C supplement, it promotes healing also, maybe 1000 mg a day or more)

ME TOO!!!! I always crave orange juice, it is delicious to me! I had to stop drinking it so much because:
1) I started getting bad acid
2) the prices for orange juice started going up
So as you can see, orange juice hurts your stomach and your wallet.

you can drink too much. the acid can irritate your stomach, can give you the poops, and in some cases urinary tract infections.
oj is good in moderation. try other juices to break it up.
too much of any fruit or fruit juice is also a natural laxitive too

If you drink too much your skin could turn yellow. This is due to the beta-carotene that gives orange fruit or veg (e.g. carrots) their colour.

You might get sick of it, but as long as you realize how much high fructose corn syrup or sugar and calories it has, it's ok.
