I had a dream about a year ago. It was a very abstract dream so it's hard to explain! I was in bed - or else surrounded by white fluffy clouds - with The One, and by that I mean of course my one true love (who I obviously haven't met yet since I'm single!). But I'm not even sure he was really physically there as I couldn't actually touch him and couldn't see what he looked like, it was more that it was his presence, and that presence was engulfing me and it was sooooooo peaceful! And even when I woke up it was like, for a couple of minutes, he was still there! It was such a good feeling. This sounds a bit silly but to me it was as if it was the unconcious mind of my true love coming to reasure me that he's out there and we'll be together one day. What do you think??

I could tell you about your sub-concious mind seeking the qualities you need to look for in a partnership, or hidden meanings etc.
But what I really think what you want to hear is my story!
A couple of years ago I was coming out of a long marriage and was as low as possible, I wept with sorrow and from the bottom of my heart I cried out to have help to carry on.
I saw my future partner not clearly, but generally height, hair colour the way she walks and I felt she was far away but coming towards me. I found the strength to carry on.
4 months later, I met her and fell in love.
So my answer is maybe your soulmate is coming, don't miss them when they arrive.
Good Luck!

Why do you interpret the person you were with as your own true love. You were at peace, maybe this merely means that you will meat someone and you will know him by the ease and peace you feal while you talk, sit together (you know that people who are bonded spiritually as well as emotionally can sit in the same room without speaking and be in perfect peace, because they are in harmony wiht their thoughts and actions and trust each other completly and love each other unconditionally). This is what you have to look forward to lucky girl. He's worth the wait.

I think you know what your dream meant better than anyone could tell you here. If you say that the dream felt like it was him saying "I'm here" then that's probably what it meant. I've had dreams like yours. Mine are usually about my kids (I'm still a virgin, I've never even been in a serious relationship) but I've had some about The One, and those are some of the most peaceful dreams I have ever had.
If I were you, I would just smile and know that there's someone out there who's worth waiting for, who will wait for you. :D

According to Dreamcrowd:
Pay attention to details and meanings about yourself and your spiritual progress in life. If God is there but not the focus: the dream content has an important message for you. If God is the focus: try to remember your feelings during that part of the dream for clues to the meaning.

Well, you shouldn't put too much stock in dreams, even good ones. You still need to do what is needed to assure that you will meet him. In other words, don't just sit around waiting for him because, honey, sometimes they don't know where you are. I met my dream man way too late, he was already married to someone else, but if I had been more "out there" I might have met him first.
