for an example of a problem you've had to deal with, i.e customer's complaint or teamwork disagreement and how you dealt with it.

Relate any situation in which you can demonstrate through the story how you worked through a problem to a solution where everyone was happy. There isn't a "stock" answer to this question. You have to recall your own experience.

The story can demonstrate a wide variety of skills or ability: how you think out of the box to problem solve... how you can defuse a disagreement... how you have excellent customer service skills... how you work as a mediator or moderator... how you think quickly and with good judgment in a crisis. Really, this is a question about how you interact with others and how you work to solve problems.

Good luck.

On the customer complaint issue the obvious answer is to ensure that you resolve the issue as soon as possible . If however it has gone past the time where any action you take would not help , then the main thing is to learn from the error and put things in place to prevent a similar error occurring again.
On the team issue , you should always seek compromise if at all possible . Regular team meetings with a published agenda can give the ideal arena to help minimise any disagreements in the first place .
Good luck with the interview.

think of a good example e.g. two members of the team were not getting on and working together on a project
then explain how you dealt with it e.g. I spoke to both of them and established what the problem was and then suggested that the completion of the project was the top priority and their disagreement was stopping the entire team from completing the project.

I would just talk to whoever the other party was and listen to what they had to say bearing in mind if they were very good customers or team workers i would not want to lose either and then use my own experience or judgement to resolve the situation.

Don't think about how you would handle the situation. Think about how you would LIKE it handled and from each side of the disagreement.

Don't worry if it is not a situation you've handled before. No one is going to check up on your entire life history.

Well, think of a problem that you have actually had, and how you resolved it. Asking for somebody ELSE's experience won't help you any.
