As you probably know by now, it's "laughing my a*ss off"! It's a shortened version of ROTFLMAO - ROTF -- "rolling on the floor". It's when something is terribly funny -- hee hee......It would probably take a whole page of "emoticons" (that's what they're called, by the way) to give you a list, but here's a few:

I don't know what IMO means; so let's share. LMAO means laughing my [bottom] off. WTF means what the [fornication]. ROFL means rolling on the floor laughing, and ROFLOL is the same, out loud. BTW means by the way. FYI means for your information. An old one software engineers used to use is RTFM, which means read the f-ing manual. Nowadays they don't even put a manual in the package with the software, and sometimes there is no package, you just download it.
